Yes — you can save Instagram Highlights for free in your browser. Use the Instagram Highlights Downloader at ClipsSaver: paste a public profile username or highlight link, preview the cover and clips, and download the photos and videos. There is no login, no app install, no account, and no fees — it runs in any browser on phone or desktop. ClipsSaver only fetches public content, so private accounts, deleted items, or expired stories cannot be retrieved.
Steps
- Open the Instagram Highlights Downloader (
/instagram-highlights-downloader). - Copy the link to the public profile or highlight. In the Instagram app, open the highlight, tap the ⋯ (three dots) and choose Copy link, or copy the profile URL / type the username.
- Paste it into the ClipsSaver search box and start the fetch.
- Wait a moment while ClipsSaver pulls the public media, then preview the highlight reel — each photo and video tile appears.
- Click Download on the items you want. Videos save as MP4 and photos as images. Repeat for any other highlight on that profile.
Tip: Highlights are saved Stories, so a highlight can mix images and short videos — download each piece individually from the preview.
Troubleshooting
- "Account is private" or nothing loads — ClipsSaver can only read public content. Fix: confirm the profile is public; private highlights cannot be fetched.
- Highlight or a clip is missing — the creator deleted that Story from the highlight, or the highlight was removed. Fix: only currently-live items can be downloaded; there's no way to recover deleted content.
- Wrong link pasted — a regular post or reel URL won't return highlights. Fix: use a profile/username or a highlight link. For single Stories use the Instagram Story Downloader; for posts use the Instagram Photo Downloader.
- Blurry or low-resolution clip — quality depends on what Instagram exposes for that item. Fix: nothing to change on your end; ClipsSaver saves the best version available.
- Region-locked content — some media is geo-restricted by the platform and can't be reached. Fix: this is an Instagram limitation, not a ClipsSaver bug.
- Download asks me to log in — it never will. ClipsSaver has no account, no credits, and no paid plans; if you see a login prompt, it's not ClipsSaver.
